Lore Dump: the Orcish Tribes of Foxbridge
There are three major orc tribes of Foxbridge, all having migrated from across the Maybiel Sea.
The BoneWolf Tribe
The Maria Tribe
The Whispering Valley Tribe
Each tribe has specific skills and duties that they have perfected and passed down their teachings through the centuries of their people’s existence. They are typically at peace and have trade agreements with each other.
The BoneWolf Tribe is the least peaceful of the three of them and often goes to war with other closer human tribes while the Maria and Whispering Valley Orcs usually take a more neutral or peaceful stance on politics.
The Maria tribe specializes primarily in farming and building so they often trade their knowledge and expertise by showing the other tribes how to build or farm for themselves while discovering new and innovative ways to make their lives easier. The most practically and industrial of the tribes.
The Whispering Valley Tribe is the one closest to the Whispering Ruins and farthest from the other two tribes who dwell in or closer to the swampy eastern region. They specialize in medicine and were the original tribe to create a peace treaty and trade agreements between the three tribes.
The BoneWolf Tribe is well equipped in weaponry and war. They pool most of their natural resources into their militia. They also have taken over the largest portion of land to the east and are easily the biggest of the three tribes.
